2021 Countywide 3-inch Orthoimagery, Auglaize County, Ohio. In 2021, Woolpert provided Auglaize County with new orthoimagery covering the entire county (+/402 sq. mi). The aerial imagery was collected between the winter/spring of 2021. Woolpert acquired new color digital collected during leaf-off conditions with a 3inch pixel resolution. Imagery was collected with the A3 Digital Sensor. Along the perimeter of the project area, orthoimagery was buffered at 100 feet. New and existing ground control was utilized to provide the County the most economical product. The orthos will be delivered as a countywide dataset, consisting of 1,250' x 1,250' uncompressed 8-bit, 4-band color GeoTIFF format with TIFF world files. The file naming convention is as follows: bnxxxxyyyy (Ohio North Zone); Please note that xxxx and yyyy represent the easting and northing coordinates (respectively) in state plane feet. Each GeoTIFF ortho file is approximately 100 megabytes in size. Additional deliverables included countywide color and color infrared Gen3 MrSID (Multi resolution Seamless Image Database) images (20x and 100x compressions), St. Marys color and color infrared Gen3 MrSID (Multi resolution Seamless Image Database) images (20x compressions), FGDC CSDGM compliant metadata per file, and tile index provided in ESRI shapefile format. Ownership of the data products resides with Auglaize County and the state of Ohio. Orthoimagery and ancillary data products produced through this contract are public domain data.
<purpose>The project data will support the County's mission to update and enhance their citywide GIS basemap layer to support both local municipality and county GIS business objectives. Orthoimagery was produced to meet ASPRS standards and metadata was produced in compliance with the FGDC’s Content Standard for Digital Geospatial Metadata (CSDGM).</purpose>

<procdesc>The VisionMap A3 EDGE Aerial Camera System is a large format frame-based sensor, collecting 12-bit RGB data. The sensor is capable of collecting multiple spectral bands and angles simultaneously at image pixel resolutions of 5 cm using the side-stepping gimbal technology. VisionMap’s A3 Edge contains dual 300mm focal length telescopes that are optimized for capturing high altitude RGB (visible) or RGBN (Color Infrared) imagery. The A3 Edge camera system has no ITAR restriction concerns. The imagery for this task order was acquired using the VisionMap A3 Edge camera system. The airborne GPS data were reduced using Waypoint’s POSGNSS software package. All of the source imagery was processed using the VisionMaps’s LightSpeed software package. This package provides the capability to perform digital image processing, aerial triangulation, and image rectification. The image frames were ortho rectified to existing LiDAR digtial elevation model (DEM) data. The individual rectified frames of ortho rectified imagery were then mosaicked together to form a seamless imagery database over the entire task order area through the VisionMap’s LightSpeed software package. The final digital orthophoto imagery (DOI) were extracted using OrthoVista.</procdesc>
