<abstract>2011 Auglaize County Digital Orthoimagery Project - In the spring of 2011 Auglaize County obtained new orthoimagery covering the entire county (+/- 402 sq. miles). Products produced (in addition to the 4-band, 8-bit orthophotos with a 0.5-foot pixel resolution) included countywide MrSID imagery (individual RGB - 30x and 100x; individual CIR 30x and 100x). The aerial imagery was collected during leaf-off conditions at a minimum resolution of 6-inches. Along the perimeter of the project area, full imagery tiles were produced. Adjacent flight lines overlap by an average of 30 percent. Imagery was collected with Leica ADS80 digital cameras and rectified using LiDAR data. Ownership of the data products resides with Auglaize County and the state of Ohio. Orthoimagery and ancillary data products produced through this contract are public domain data.</abstract>
<purpose>The state of Ohio has a goal to develop and maintain a seamless statewide base map, referred to as OSIP (Ohio Statewide Imagery Program). OSIP is an initiative partnered through several State Agencies (i.e. ODOT, ODNR, OEPA) through OGRIP. USGS is also a partner. Data from this project forms the foundation of the statewide base map, and was developed primarily to support multi-use applications, including homeland security, emergency management, economic development, and the business of government.</purpose>

<procdesc>The Leica ADS80-SH81/82 Airborne Digital Sensor is a push-broom geometry sensor, collecting12-bit data with 12,000 pixel swath coveragewith up to a 5-centimeter spatial resolution. The sensor is capable of collecting multiple spectral bands and angles simultaneously. Leica’s ADS80 collects seven bands of imagery simultaneously: three panchromatic CCD lines capture information in the forward, nadir and backward views from the aircraft, while four multispectral lines capture data in the red, green, blue, and near color infrared band. The imagery for this task order was acquired using the Leica ADS80-SH81/82 multispectral scanner. The ADS80-SH81/82 utilizes the Leica’s IPAS20 direct positioning and orientation system that is based on airborne GPS and inertial measurement unit (IMU) technology. The IPAS20 data were reduced using Leica’sIPAS Pro software package (V1.3). All of the source imagery was processed using the Leica XPRO (V5.0.1) software package. This package provides the capability to perform digital image processing, aerial triangulation, and image rectification. The strips of imagery were ortho rectified to newly collected LiDAR digtial elevation model (DEM) data. The individual rectified strips of ortho rectified imagery were then mosaicked together to form a seamless imagery database over the entire task order area using the OrthoVista software (V4.5) by Inpho GmbH. The final digital orthophoto imagery (DOI) were extracted using OrthoVista.coordinates, were extracted using OrthoVista.</procdesc>
